Introduction


As Learning and Development (L&D) Facilitator, you will be one of Momentum's brand representatives and a key role player to our success.


Role Purpose


The main purpose of your role will be to effectively facilitate and deliver learning interventions to directly impact the outcomes of the Momentum Investments Service and Operations environment.

To ensure that learning on product, compliance and systems are facilitated within the Momentum Investments Service and Operations environment, to directly impact the business outcomes.


Requirements:

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 35 years experience in an Investments business, delivering product, compliance and systems training.
  • Relevant Bachelors Degree with specialistion in Education, Development, Human Resources or any related field.
  • Accreditation as an OD-ETDP (Occupationally Directed Education Training Development Practise) Practitioner is essential
  • Excellent computer skills, with the ability to learn and understand new systems quickly and with confidence.
  • Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams) at an advanced level.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Work Output:

Facilitate learning interventions in line with business requirements (internal process)

  • Ensure the identification and assessment of training needs within the operating environment.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of a learning plan that directly drives the operational training outcomes for the business.
  • Ensure that all training material, when delivered is updated and relevant within the context of the training need.
  • Ensure proactive planning that leads to the professional delivery of all training interventions, using various learning modalities.
  • Ensure that all learning is facilitated using adult learning principles, from design to content development.
Proactively coach learner in alignment with assessment outcomes to ensure successful integration into the workplace.
Engage with Learners as key clients to the service we deliver.

  • As an SME, provide authoritative, expertise and advice to learners in order to achieve higher levels of competence.
  • Ensure effective relationship management with stakeholders internal and externally.
  • Ensure all learning requests are delivered within the SLA's as agreed with key stakeholders.

Self-management and teamwork (People)

  • Ensure that you keep abreast of all knowledge and skills that requires you to operate as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders.
  • Positively influence and participate in change initiatives.
  • Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledge.
  • Contribute to continuous innovation through the development, sharing and implementation of new ideas.
  • Take ownership for driving career development.
  • Participate and contribute to a culture of Momentum by aligning all behaviors in how we relate to all stakeholders.

Contribute to financial controls and planning (Finance)

  • Proactively identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
  • Manage financial and other company resources under your control in line with the control requirements set within the organisation.
  • Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the appropriate forums.
