Associate Proposal Developer/Contracts Analyst - Graduate Development Programme 2023

IQVIA is hiring for its Graduate Development Programme in Global Business Operations. This presents a great opportunity to evolve into a top-notch Business Analyst, poised to handle any deliverable with the utmost quality and comprehensive understanding, and to embark on a successful and exciting career journey into the realm of Global Proposals and Contracts.

The program comprises three months of training, followed by working with a dedicated coach to drive the development and execution of Proposals or Contracts. You will gain a solid foundation in the Clinical Research industry, project management skills, financial basics, negotiation techniques, and the expertise needed to craft a winning proposal or draft an executable contract.

No prior experience is required; however, successful candidates will be eager to learn, proactive in engaging and building relationships, and possess outstanding communication skills.

As an Associate Proposal Developer/Contracts Analyst, you will be an integral part of a global team, tasked with developing and preparing proposals, preliminary agreements, and executable contracts for designated clients to support IQVIA's Global sales and project management teams.

As part of your role, you will:

  • Work closely with project teams to determine appropriate contract terms and conditions
  • Develop and prepare Contracts
  • Act as primary customer interface for small to mid-size projects
  • Support senior team members on larger projects
  • Revise or develop contract-related budgets and scope of work
  • Ensure accurate definition of work scope and budgets, integrating any changes efficiently
  • Negotiate legal contracting text using IQVIA's Global Contracting Policy
  • Finalize and distribute documents
  • Maintain contract databases and files
  • Perform all other assigned duties

  • Have strong experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Hold a Degree in Life Science, Business Management, Finance, Legal, or related field
  • Display a keen interest in proposal and contract writing
  • Ideally, have knowledge of the Clinical Research industry
