Minimum requirements
- RE5 certificate
- Insurance qualification (preferable at least NQF level / 150 credits))
- 5 years commercial claims experience including HCV/GIT
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong administration and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Own transport
Responsibilities
- Handling all administration relating to claims processing.
- Managing queries raised by policyholders, business partners and internal stakeholders in relation to claims.
- Initiating claims correctly and accurately.
- Managing all telephonic queries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Contacting appropriate parties for outstanding documentation to process claims.
- Managing and attending to telephonic calls received in a professional and efficient manner.
- Proactively providing feedback in respect of claims to client's and management
- Updating data/information relating to the claim accurately on various systems,
- Ad hoc administrative tasks relating to Claims.
- Incorporating the principles of TCF in relation to claims.
