Minimum requirements

  • RE5 certificate
  • Insurance qualification (preferable at least NQF level / 150 credits))
  • 5 years commercial claims experience including HCV/GIT
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong administration and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Own transport

Responsibilities

  • Handling all administration relating to claims processing.
  • Managing queries raised by policyholders, business partners and internal stakeholders in relation to claims.
  • Initiating claims correctly and accurately.
  • Managing all telephonic queries in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Contacting appropriate parties for outstanding documentation to process claims.
  • Managing and attending to telephonic calls received in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Proactively providing feedback in respect of claims to client's and management
  • Updating data/information relating to the claim accurately on various systems,
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks relating to Claims.
  • Incorporating the principles of TCF in relation to claims.
