  • Qualifications and Experience:
Appropriate tertiary qualification

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position within Food and Beverage in a hotel environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication, problemsolving, decisionmaking, and conflict management abilities
  • Competency in administration skills, including payroll input, staff rostering, inventory control, ordering, and training
  • Proven experience in planning, assigning, and delegating tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a pressurized environment
  • Proactive and selfdriven with a strong sense of initiative
  • Knowledge of industrial relations management and disciplinary processes
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail pertaining to the area of responsibility
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and wellgroomed appearance as per company standards

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in Food and Beverage Operations

  • Foster a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing excellent service
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all employees
  • Respond quickly and proactively to employee concerns
  • Utilize coaching skills throughout the property
  • Demonstrate selfconfidence, energy, and enthusiasm
  • Motivate and encourage staff to address guest and employee concerns
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered
  • Respond quickly and proactively to guest concerns
  • Understand the brand's service culture and set service expectations for all guests
  • Take ownership of guest complaints/problems until resolved or addressed by the appropriate manager or employee
  • Develop relationships with guests to build repeat clientele
  • Maintain and develop the highest standards of service in the Food and Beverage departments
  • Organize, plan, direct, and manage the costeffective operation of the Food and Beverage Department
  • Forecast cover, revenue, and payroll costs for all Food and Beverage outlets
  • Provide support and guidance to all Food and Beverage Departments for efficient operations
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards
  • Conduct interviews, screenings, and hiring of new employees
  • Perform performance appraisals, recognition, and disciplinary actions
  • Coordinate training programs and skills enhancement initiatives for Food and Beverage staff
  • Address and resolve guest and staff concerns
  • Order and evaluate the quality of all food and related supplies, maintaining appropriate inventory levels
  • Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring high standards of repair, hygiene, and safety
  • Oversee all aspects of catered functions as directed
  • Comply with corporate accounting procedures
  • Prepare and ensure compliance with annual Quality and Brand Standard Audit
