The Role

We are on the lookout for a skilled Account Manager to join our growing teams dedicated to serving a range of prestigious clients, primarily in the Corporate and Consumer sectors.

As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will involve supporting day-to-day client initiatives and providing leadership to junior team members by offering ongoing guidance and effectively delegating tasks. Your duties will encompass overseeing client relationships and integrated communication (IC) programs, ensuring client satisfaction, exploring new business prospects, and nurturing existing accounts. You will play a pivotal role in aligning with our corporate objectives, maintaining exceptional client services, fostering a culture of success, and driving profitability.

Key responsibilities

Client Service:

  • Stay well-informed about your clients' businesses, sectors, media connections, and competitors, utilizing this knowledge to develop comprehensive, strategic, and integrated communication programs that support the clients' business goals and yield positive outcomes.
  • Generate innovative ideas and seamlessly integrate them into client programs and campaigns.
  • Assume the role of the main client liaison on a day-to-day basis and ensure clear and consistent communication between the client and the account team.
  • Actively oversee the effective implementation of a set of accounts within prescribed time and budget constraints.
  • Cultivate client relationships and serve as the client's primary contact, advisor, and strategic planner.
  • Demonstrate proficient verbal and written communication skills, including crafting various materials such as Q&A, key messages, holding statements, and press releases.
  • Skillfully assist senior managers and leaders in addressing client concerns and executing impactful campaigns.
  • Maintain strong relationships with reporters, bloggers, and media professionals covering the clients' sectors and industries to optimize channels and bolster media connections.
  • Aid in the development of media strategies, compose compelling pitches, relay stories to journalists, and respond to media inquiries.
  • Stay informed about social media platforms, trends, and analytical tools, offering suggestions to enhance our capabilities.
  • Support the implementation of the digital media strategy.

Business Development:

  • Collaborate with Directors and other senior leaders to identify fresh business opportunities with current and prospective clients.
  • Proactively participate in new business brainstorms and take charge of sections of new business proposals under the guidance of Directors and senior leaders.

Talent Management:

  • Guide and support junior team members in their professional development within the organization.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that engages all individuals impartially and showcases adaptability in a changing work setting.
  • Provide hands-on training to new team members on daily tasks, assign tasks to junior team members clearly, and ensure quality implementation within specified deadlines.
