The Facilities Maintenance Technician you required to provide direction to and oversight of Equipment and facility Maintenance.

You are responsible to ensure repairs and maintenance service is sufficient to keep all gym equipment building facilities, functional and member ready at all times.


Main Duties

  • Manage the equipment to provide repair and maintain service on cardio, strength equipment.
  • Service can be assigned on a scheduled or unscheduled basis based on priority type and needs, and is constantly tracked using, reports and evaluated for effectiveness, quality through inspections and direct feedback from staff, field management and gym members.
  • Routine training of gym staff on preventative maintenance techniques and light repairs is required as well.
  • Able to work independently and manage direct report(s), manage priorities and take charge as necessary. Excellent communication skills
  • Experience maintaining relaxation equipment to include: steam rooms and audio/visual gym entertainment systems
  • Capable of effectively handling the physical demands of the job, which can involve lifting heavy equipment, constant bending and lifting, and working from knees or low to the floor
  • Able to use power tools such as grinders, Drillers, welding machine etc.
  • Nonstandard work week (could include weekends, nights, oncall)
  • Maintain training/certifications required for position

Hours:45+ hours as scheduled. Evening and weekend work may be required at times.

Preferred

  • Drivers License Compulsory
  • Welding experience
  • Minor Building maintenance experience
  • Equipment spray painting
  • Reside in close proximity of the gym
