Core KPA1:
Curriculum design and development (60%)
Provide academic leadership in the overall design of the diploma in ICT
Manage the development of study guides in line with the implementation plan for the DICT
Manage independent contractors' engagements in the development of study guides and assessments for all other modules within the DICT.

KPA2:
Research and administration (20%)

Conduct research in area/s of expertise
Provide guidance and support to the Academic Support team
Lead the recruitment and selection of lecturers, examiners and moderators in preparation for the launch of the programme

KPA3:
Project management (20%)

Manage the provision of all infrastructure and facilities (i.e. computer labs, library resources etc) required for the effective launch of the DICT
Lay the foundation for industry contacts for WIL placements

Requirements:

Broad and deep knowledge of IT knowledge areas
Ability to integrate knowledge from diverse sources into coherent instructional instruments
Project management
Honours degree in information technology or equivalent
A masters degree in IT an advantage
At least three years teaching experience with diploma in IT students
Experience in IT-related work integrated learning
Excellent communication and reporting skills
