Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Technical Draughting qualification
  • Pay Attention to detail ( Very crucial)
  • Able to work under pressure
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Previous sheet metal experience is an added advantage
  • 2D Autocad Software experience ( Must be proficient)
  • 3D Rendering software is an added advantage
  • Driver's license
  • Experience with MS Office software
  • Must be technically and mechanically minded

Responsibilities:

  • Detailing design drawings and specifications are developed using AUTOCAD
  • Presentation drawings to architects / client
  • Prepare manufacturing instructions / Works Orders
  • Prepare renders
  • Create vector drawings in the format required for production.
  • Overflow design / drawing work from engineering dept.
  • Creating the engineering drawings of 3D CAD models that the architects /engineers have created.
  • Taking a brief from customers (understand their requirements, advise on possible solutions with our capabilities in mind).
  • Drawings maintenance (updating revisions or improving existing drawings / designs).
  • Transferring drawings from one format into a more appropriate format for use within our system (prepare / modify CAD files as needed).
  • Estimating and costing of new request for quotes.
  • Ensuring that jobs are completed within the expected time frame as estimated.
  • Creating of bill of materials.
  • Creating work orders.
  • Processing purchase orders
  • Communicating with staff on all levels from senior management to workshop floor.
  • Creating workshop manufacturing drawings and project folders.
  • Ensuring that customer's expectations and requirements are fully met in terms of quality and lead times.
  • Material Procurement

  • Rivet ( Must be Good)
  • Lumion / In Motion

Pay:
R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
