We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Electrical Draughtsman.

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics based on project specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project goals and technical details.
  • Assist in the preparation of electrical layout plans, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
  • Utilize computeraided design (AUTOCAD) software to produce accurate and efficient drawings.
  • Review and modify existing drawings to incorporate design changes or updates.
  • Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the project team to address design issues and provide solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of material lists and cost estimates.
  • Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and project files.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or related field.
  • Proficiency in computeraided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting electrical drawings.
  • Basic understanding of electrical principles and systems.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under supervision and contribute to a teamoriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design standards.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards.
  • Knowledge of MS Office is a plus.
