Responsible for delivery of change requirements for various projects Input into change management plans and interventions to shift Department's teams to new ways of working Work with the Department's and Data and Analytics Project Manager to deeply understand change needs and impacts Work with the Change Teams to create engagement plans and material across the entire project, specific focus on users, people, business Work with users to deeply understand needs and communicate practically

Change Planning

  • Build a change strategy and plan that serves the project plan

Stakeholder Management:

  • Understand relevant project stakeholders and assess stakeholder impact, create stakeholder impact matrix
  • Develop, manage, and report on a stakeholder plan (communication and engagement plans)
  • Bring all Department stakeholders on board to new ways of working to improve Assortment and Data modelling (not only teams directly impacted)
  • Challenge teams to shift mindset to one of learning / thinking about the future (Futurefit mindset). This includes the Department's leadership teams
  • Create an understanding of the effectiveness of an agile way of working
Facilitate Team and Line Management Discussions

  • Facilitate and conduct discussions with various teams and line managers

Manage Transformation:

  • Analysis of people impact of changes to processes and ways of working in line with Department's strategy and a datadriven organisation
  • Create and change plans to manage the people impacts
  • Responsible for change enablement
  • Provide support during implementation
  • Ensure operational/business readiness with Data and Analytics and Business Champion and Sponsor
  • Manage resistance and barriers to change

Manage Engagement:

  • Work with project team to deliver integrated engagement and communication across the business
  • Provide an engagement plan as input into broader project engagement plan which includes Data and Analytics
  • Work with the Department's teams and SMEs to shape key messages and comms appropriate for stakeholders
  • Set up and manage Department's forums
Manage Communication

  • Create Department's communication that is relevant to specific stakeholders
  • Work with project team to deliver integrated communication across the business
  • Track communication effectiveness
  • Set up and manage golive communication and channels with Foods

General:

  • Identify risks and opportunities and create mitigation strategies
  • All change documentation relevant to the Department's change are set up and maintained
  • Integrate with other Project streams to understand impacts
  • Status/Change reporting
Minimum requirements

  • At least 5 years relevant Change Management experience
  • Relevant 3year tertiary or NQF aligned qualification
  • Previous experience of working within process projects
  • Understanding of agile methodologies
  • Relevant retail industry experience is advantageous
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills at multiple stakeholder levels
