IT Technician

We are looking for an experienced IT Technician for a large and growing Motor Group. As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the IT systems. and serve as the first point of contact for IT support.

You will be required to install, configure, and maintain software and hardware, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems, repair and replace damaged computer and network components and provide day to day equipment support.

You will need to be Microsoft Certified (MCSE) with an A+ certificate, have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations and have excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration.

Job Requirements
Matric Certificate

5 years of experience in IT operations

A strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including MPLS, SD-WAN, DNS, DHCP, and IP subnets

Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems

Familiarity with remote access tools such as Anydesk, TeamViewer, and Remote Desktop

Knowledge of various access points, routers, and switches, including Unify

Ability to support VoIP phones and a 3CX VoIP Phone System

Experience with network installations, including fiber and Cat5e installations

Installation and support of CCTV cameras

Ability to support, troubleshoot, and install signature pads, credit card machines, scanners, and printers

Familiarity with Fortigate Firewall

Knowledge of Yealink Video Conferencing
