Purpose of the Job:

Who You Are:

  • You would need a strong understanding of the Retail Automation business processes and principles.
  • You would need a strong technical understanding of hybrid solutions implemented within the Retail Space
  • Good understanding of the technical requirements and security protocols both onsite and cyber

What you'll have done before:

Baseline:

  • NQF Level 7 (Degree in Computer Science/ Management/ Information Systems, IT or equivalent).
  • 8 experience in Management of Automation Systems & Infrastructure within Retail/ FMCG industry.
  • Understanding of CRM practices
  • Understanding of IT Integration
  • Experience in managing cloud and distributed solutions

Advantageous:

  • Management/ Leadership Qualification
  • Knowledge of technical reference architectures
  • Understanding of IT Governance Processes & Architecture

What you'll be doing:

SOLUTION IMPLEMENTATION & SUPPORT - Support and maintain Retail related infrastructure and solutions supporting multiple business divisions (Retail, Commercial, Lubes and IBD).

ASSET MANAGEMENT - Manage the automation assets by ensuring availability and delivery of required forecourt infrastructure

PLATFORM, SECURITY & RISK MANAGEMENT - Secure Engen's data and operating environment through compliance with approved security standards and by ensuring that patching and security postures are up to date to minimise risk to processes and data

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT - Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including divisional representatives, end customers (B2B and B2C) and IT stakeholders

DEMAND & SERVICE MANAGEMENT - Manage demands, requests, incidents, problems, and other events logged and / or raised by dealers and customers and with a team consisting of IT and third-party specialists and service providers

ANALYSIS & REPORTING - Manage the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of CX and forecourt services and resources through proactively monitoring and reporting performance against SLAs
