ASSISTANT SPA MANAGER - 5 Spa in the Cape Winelands

Stellenbosch (Cape Winelands):

  • Western Cape (ZA)

Starting Date:
mid-April 2024

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

  • Monday
  • Sunday 09:00 18:00
  • 1x weekend off per month + Days off

Reports to:
Spa Director

PACKAGE POTENTIAL & COMPANY BENEFITS:

  • R20,00000 to R25,000 per month Gross (final Offer will be based on experience & skills required)

  • Commission earned on treatments performed (where operationally required)
  • Commission earned on retail sold

QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | ESSENTIAL SKILLS DESIRED:

  • Must be based in within the Cape Winelands district (Stellenbosch / Paarl / Franshoek / Somerset West / Wellington, etc.)
  • Own, reliable vehicle due to location of the spa
  • Beautifully groomed & professionally presentable
  • Certification from a recognized Training facility with qualifications in either Spa / Beauty / Cosmetology / Spa Management
  • City & Guilds / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / SAAHSP
  • At least 5 years experience in a Senior Therapist / Managerial capacity
  • Previous employment in a luxury establishment / hotel or cruise ship spa essential
  • Computer literate and confident
  • Able to train staff on spa protocols and follow up on company brand trainings
  • Able to lead and develop employees and services
  • Knowledge of spa procedures
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs
  • Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Spa
  • Ability to perform job functions with mínimal supervision
  • Knowledge of and ability to sell spa products
  • Able to assist with adhoc duties in other departments of the property if operationally required by management
  • Comfortable performing spa & beauty therapies when operationally / adhoc required
