Fulton Hogan's Tasmanian team are going through a very exciting period of growth, no more so than the recently awarded Northeast Tasmania Road Maintenance contract on behalf of the Department of State Growth.

Fulton Hogan will deliver a network wide maintenance contract of 1300km of State Roads Network, including a small number of unsealed roads in the North East corner of Tasmania. The contract will include the use of innovative AI camera systems to monitor the network and deliver grass mowing, vegetation management, pavement maintenance and bridge, culvert and underpass asset maintenance.

As a result of this, Fulton Hogan is looking for a Network Inspector to be based at our Launceston depot. The Network Inspector will be responsible for undertaking inspections across the road network, identifying areas of maintenance or work that is required, and reporting this back to the office for scheduling. AI camera technology along with Maintenance Information Management System (Reflect) will be a key aspect of performing this role so possessing a flare for using technology and assisting the System Administrator will be key to your success.

How you'll connect to the role?

Experience operating a maintenance management software solution such as Reflect. Ability to identify standard defects within the road network. Ability to work autonomously. Hold a current Drivers Licence and Safe Driving record. Hold a Construction Induction Card (White Card) Hold a Basic Worksite Traffic Management Ticket (desirable) Ability to competently use a mobile device to navigate and enter written information into a mobile app Possess a strong commitment to safety Have a strong eye for details Be a motivated self-starter Previous experience in the Infrastructure Industry a benefit
