**Main purpose of the job**

The job purpose is to implement the delivery of external agricultural transformation initiatives in support of the PPECB Transformation strategy.

**High level job objectives**
- To ensure implementation of the SAGAP certification programme in all 9 provinces and neighbouring countries.
- To follow up and work on compiled action plans with defined outputs, action dates and responsibilities as set by the provinces.
- To gather relevant information for projects identified by provinces for SAGAP certification programme.
- To conduct assessment audits and impartially approve requests for food safety final audits for SAGAP certification based on the pre audit report.
- To ensure farmers meet certification requirements for market access prior conduction of final audit.
- To facilitate training for Food Safety, Responsible Use of Pesticides and Good Agricultural Practice.
- To inform stakeholders of progress of the transformation programmes including SA GAP.
- To support roll-out of new external development products and services through appropriate training interventions.
