An opportunity for an experienced Audit and Compliance Manager is available. You will be responsible for overseeing internal operating controls, processes, and practices.

As the Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that policies and controls are current, adequate, functional, and in compliance with government and company standards.

You will also be responsible for planning and conducting various audits and consultations, including financial, operational, and regulatory compliance audits.

You must be a strategic thinker and have a strong background in audit methodologies and techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and conduct financial, operational, and regulatory compliance audits and consultations
  • Develop and execute riskbased audit plan
  • Evaluate risks and appropriately manage them
  • Provide consultation services to multiple business units
  • Manage and lead the internal audit team
  • Preparing audit reports, presentations, and recommendations to management
  • Manage and oversee significant regulatory projects
  • People Management

Requirements:

  • CA (SA) preferred or equivalent internal audit qualification
  • Min of 4year tertiary degree in a related field
  • Min 5 years work experience in Risk & Compliance Management
  • Strong IFRS knowledge
  • Indepth knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations
  • Strong background and experience with audit methodologies and techniques
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
