Our client is looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior HRD Coordinator to join their dynamic team based in the Free State. As a Senior HRD Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating human resources development activities within the mining sector.

Your expertise in HRD, coupled with your strong leadership and organizational skills, will contribute to the development and implementation of effective HRD strategies. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of human resources development programs within the mining sector.
  • Develop and implement HRD strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HRD initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify training needs and design relevant development programs.
  • Manage and maintain training records and databases.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards in HRD practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees on HRD matters.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and develop training plans.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually.
  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HRD.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on HRD activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • National Senior Certificate.
  • Trade Test Certificate.
  • N5 in Engineering Studies.
  • At least 6 years of experience within the mining industry in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in a Plant or Trackless Mobile Machinery mining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HRD principles and practices.
  • Excellent understanding of relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing HRD strategies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
