What you'll be doing

Role Overview

As an Azure Technical Architect at NTT, you will play a pivotal role in designing, and selling cloud-based infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with our infrastructure, operations, and security teams to provide scalable, secure, and resilient solutions that cater to our clients' unique needs. This role presents an excellent opportunity to stay at the forefront of cloud technology and drive continuous improvement in our organization.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Presales and designs for Azure cloud architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy complex solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Azure platform.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

  • Develop automation scripts and templates to streamline the engagement process and generation of cloud resource-based collateral.

  • Conduct performance and compatibility assessments, identifying opportunities for optimization and risk mitigation.

  • Stay current on emerging cloud technologies and trends, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance our offerings and drive innovation.

What would make you a good fit for this role?

Requirements

  • Azure certificate for AZ-900 / AZ-104 or AZ-305 (Azure Solution Architecture preferred)

  • Other demonstrated Azure certifications such as the DevOps, networking, security and identity certifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field beneficial.

  • Strong understanding of Azure services, including VMs, App Services, Storage, and Networking.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python beneficial.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as ARM templates or Terraform.

  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD and automation.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • A self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and staying current on industry trends.

  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

  • Strong commitment to quality and a keen eye for detail.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3 Years Azure experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on Azure.

  • Strong track record as an architect of new systems/solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience presenting technical solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing large-scale Azure projects.

  • Proven client engagement and development consulting experience.

  • Proven track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes.

  • Experience in migrating on-premises infrastructure to the Azure cloud is a plus.

  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
