Als ervaren Data Engineer bij DF&A heb jij een belangrijke rol in het ontwikkelen van Managementinformatie producten. Samen met o.a. business analisten en rapportage analisten bouw je oplossingen die voorzien in structurele informatiebehoeften van de business. Denk aan een dashboard met KPI’s over het functioneren van de Belastingdienst t.b.v. verantwoording aan de directie en de politiek, maar ook aan stuurinformatie op basis waarvan een keten -of directiemanager de capaciteit beter kan inzetten.
Samen met de business analist in het bouwteam doorgrond je onze data en ontwikkel je onder andere dataopwerkingen onder onze producten voor meerdere ketens. Alles met het doel om onze dienstverlening en efficiëntie te optimaliseren. Hierbij ben je op je best als er geen snelle of eenvoudige oplossing voor handen is, en bent juist degene die dan naar voren stapt om het team verder te helpen. Jij neemt de leiding bij het ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van de code, en het testen en in productie nemen ervan. Hierbij richt je je onder andere het extraction-, transformation- en loadproces in, waarbij je werkt met SAS en Teradata SQL.
We werken in multidisciplinaire teams waarbij ook van elk teamlid wordt verwacht breed inzetbaar te zijn (zogeheten T-shaped professional). Daarom zal je als data engineer ook met minimaal basiskennis van datavisualisatie en de bijbehorende tooling aan de slag gaan. Naast product-specifieke werkzaamheden lever je met jouw ervaring en expertise een belangrijke bijdrage aan professionalisering en standaardisering van dataopwerking voor álle te bouwen MI binnen DF&A. Om deze werkzaamheden optimaal te kunnen uitvoeren, neem je deel in verschillende in- en externe projecten en lever je vanuit je expertise een bijdrage aan ons quality framework en de Data Engineer Community of Practice.
Achtergrond opdracht
Je werkt aan opdrachten in de MI Agile Release Train van ongeveer 50 collega’s, opgedeeld in enkele multidisciplinaire scrum teams. Het gaat hier om een plek in bouwteam Kratos, die de dienstverlening aan ketens Bezwaar, Inkomensheffing en Schenk en Erf verzorgen. De ART en het bouwteam zijn recent opgericht, jij speelt een belangrijke rol om hier een succes van te maken

Minimaal HBO werk- en denkniveau.
