Hire Resolve is currently hiring a Toolmaker for one of its esteemed clients in the plastics industry. As a Toolmaker, you will play a crucial role in the construction, maintenance, and repair of various tools and equipment used in plastic manufacturing processes.

You will work closely with engineers and other professionals to ensure the effective functioning of molds, dies, and other tools. This includes setting up and operating machines such as wire-cutting machines and CNC machines to fabricate parts with precision.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the plastics industry and extensive experience in toolmaking. Proficiency in CNC programming, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential competencies for this role.

Requirements

  • Trade qualification as a Toolmaker or relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in toolmaking in the plastics industry
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and operating wire-cutting machines
  • Experience in mold construction, repair, and maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
