RPO Recruitment's client, a prominent player in the mining industry, is seeking an experienced E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation) Superintendent to join their team. As the E&I Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical and instrumentation activities within the mining operation, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of all related systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the E&I team
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies for electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Manage the E&I budget and resources
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to optimize productivity
  • Oversee the planning and execution of E&I projects

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the mining industry
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems used in the mining industry
  • Experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
