RPO Recruitment's client, a prominent player in the mining industry, is seeking an experienced E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation) Superintendent to join their team. As the E&I Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical and instrumentation activities within the mining operation, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of all related systems and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the E&I team
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies for electrical and instrumentation systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Manage the E&I budget and resources
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to optimize productivity
- Oversee the planning and execution of E&I projects
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the mining industry
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems used in the mining industry
- Experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
