A leading South African IT solutions provider specializing in cyber security, seeks a highly motivated Inventory Controller to join their operations team.

In this role, you will play a critical role in managing the digital inventory of cyber security hardware and software, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper accounting of these valuable assets.

What you'll be doing:

•Oversee the entire stock control process for cyber security hardware and software.

•Maintain accurate and timely records in our inventory management system.

•Monitor stock levels and generate replenishment orders for software.

•Conduct regular audits, reconcile data, and resolve discrepancies.

•Prepare and generate reports on stock levels, movements, and software license compliance.

•Identify opportunities to improve stock control processes and procedures.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to security protocols.

•Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy, and security regulations.

What we're looking for:

•Strong understanding of stock control principles for cyber security software (including licensing, deployment, and asset management).

•Experience with inventory management software or systems for cyber security software.

•Keen eye for detail with the ability to audit, reconcile data, and identify discrepancies.

•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Top-notch organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

•Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and provide reports to management.

•Proficiency in inventory management software, data analysis tools, and MS Office applications.

•Familiarity with cyber security software and related technologies.

•High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience in stock control or inventory management (a diploma/degree in IT, cyber security, or a related field is a plus).

•Strong numerical aptitude and ability to perform basic calculations accurately.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
