As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the mining site. With our extensive network and expertise in the mining industry, we are confident in connecting the right candidate with the right opportunity.


Responsibilities:
  • Compliance with all safety regulations and standards
  • Manage and oversee the maintenance and operation of mining equipment
  • Provide technical support and expertise to the mining team
  • Implement and monitor effective maintenance strategies
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee the training and development of team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
  • GCC Mines and Works
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Section Engineer in an Open Cast mining environment
  • Proven Experience with Heavy Earth Moving Equipment
  • Strong knowledge of mining regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Willingness to work in the Northern Cape
