Hire Resolve is seeking a talented Systems Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer to join our client's team. As a Systems Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of our client's systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize the infrastructure and applications, using automation and best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain systems and infrastructure to support our client's applications and services.
  • Implement and improve automation tools and processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of applications.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system outages and incidents.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for security, performance, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and administration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python or Bash.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus.
