Hire Resolve's client, a prominent company in the mining industry, is currently seeking an experienced Shaft Rigger to join their team. As a Shaft Rigger, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, inspection, and maintenance of rigging systems in vertical shafts.

Responsibilities
  • Install and dismantle rigging equipment in vertical shafts
  • Inspect rigging systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on rigging equipment
  • Coordinate and communicate with team members to execute rigging operations
  • Follow safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
  • Maintain accurate records of rigging activities and inspections
  • Provide training and guidance to junior riggers as necessary

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Shaft Rigger in the mining industry
  • A Valid Rigger trade certification
  • In-depth knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment specific to vertical shafts
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the mining industry
  • Strong understanding of rigging calculations and inspection processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical fitness and manual dexterity
