In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of their facilities, addressing maintenance issues promptly, and contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Minimum requirements:

• Matric or equivalent to NQF 4
• Trade Test certificate
• 3 years' post trade experience
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Valid driver license and transport
• Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience
• Experience in a food manufacturing industry will be advantageous

Duties and responsibilities:

• Daily routine inspections
• Repairs and maintenance of machinery
• Perform scheduled routine preventative maintenance and services
• Diagnose root cause of mechanical malfunctions and repair
• Stock control of parts required for maintenance
• Reporting of low levels to the Maintenance Manager
