Senior Backend Developer (Java) - Shape the Future of Automotive

imizizi is seeking a talented Senior Backend Developer (Java) to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining critical systems for the automotive industry.

What you'll be doing:
  • Design and develop robust APIs (REST, WebService, AQMP) that power our applications.
  • Utilize Dependency Injection and best practices in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Manage, design, develop, and maintain efficient database structures (SQL with Oracle & Postgres).
  • Implement stored procedures and leverage design patterns like DAO for clean code.
  • Follow the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Maven for multi-module project management.
  • Collaborate with the team using Git for version control and implement CI/CD practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide operational support, ensuring system uptime meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Leverage your understanding of core AWS services and best practices to architect cloud-based solutions.

  • A qualification in IT Business Analysis (Diploma/Degree) (advantageous).
