We are looking for a Teacher Assistant to support our teaching staff in providing effective instruction and classroom management. The Teacher Assistant will work closely with teachers to assist with various tasks and activities, ensuring the smooth operation of the classroom and the overall success of our students.

Tasks
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and instructional materials to students.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional assistance.
  • Help students with assignments, projects, and classroom activities.
  • Supervise students during class time, recess, and other school activities.
  • Assist with classroom organization and setup, including preparing materials and resources.
  • Support teachers in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student behavior and address any disciplinary issues in accordance with school policies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, grading, and photocopying.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Passion for working with students and helping them succeed academically and socially.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to follow directions and assist teachers with various tasks as needed.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities in the classroom.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
