Chargehand Mechanic

Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking an experienced Chargehand Mechanic to join their mining team in the mining, based in the Northern Cape. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of mechanics and ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of mining equipment.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanics and technicians
• Ensure timely and efficient maintenance and repairs of mining equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team
• Maintain and update maintenance records and reports
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment performance
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Trade Certificate as an Artisan Mechanic/Auto Electrician or similar
• N3 Certificate in Engineering Studies
• 5 years experience as a Mechanic in the mining industry.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role
• Dover B symbol
• Valid Drivers License (Code B/EB)
