We are looking for two Senior Instructors that will jointly cover the full product portfolio of the Adabas & Natural business unit on our strategic IT platforms (IBM z/OS, Linux and Cloud).

Essential Functions

  • Design and develop modern and comprehensive learning paths and product training (self-paced eLearning, instructor-led) for various Adabas, Natural and CONNX data integration products.

  • Conduct engaging and effective training sessions through various formats, such as in-person sessions, webinars, user events, and e-learning.

  • Develop product training certification programs and badges.

  • Manage a mix of content types e.g., presentations, product demos, speaker and video recordings.

  • Customize training sessions based on the audience, ensuring content is tailored to meet the specific needs of different user groups.

  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide ongoing assistance to internal teams, partners and clients by answering queries and providing clarifications.

  • Gather feedback from training sessions and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders (e.g., marketing, product management, presales, professional services, customer support) to address specific needs, to manage agile roadmaps and to actively promote training offerings.

  • Stay updated on new product releases, software education trends and platforms.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Instructional Design, Education) or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven experience as a software product trainer skilled on latest tools to develop and deliver courses (e.g., presentations, illustrations, audio/video recording, learning platforms, online courses, Web collaboration tools, online communities, certifications, badges, tutorials, exercises).

  • Strong knowledge about the Adabas & Natural product stack (IBM z/OS, Linux and Cloud) or similar technologies in the areas of application development, databases and integration.

  • Ability to convey complex technologies clearly and effectively to participants with varying levels of expertise.

  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills. Fluent English is a must, additional languages are a plus (e.g., German, Portuguese).

  • Excellent customer-centric mindset and listening skills.

  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with multiple international stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and goal-driven attitude.

  • Ability to adapt modern training concepts, tools and technologies.

  • Ability to travel when required.
