Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Trackless Fitter to join their team. As a Trackless Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of trackless mining equipment, ensuring their optimal performance in the mining operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose faults on trackless mining equipment.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance work promptly.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns.
  • Install new equipment and machinery as needed.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Trade Certificate as a Fitter
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fitter, in the mining industry
  • Experience working with trackless mining equipment
  • Good knowledge and experience with underground pumps, valves, impact breakers, tips, gearboxes, hydraulic motors, etc.

Benefits

  • Salary: R600K-R800K
