Mid Level Application Developer Wanted (3+ years relevant work experience)

Northern Suburbs (Cape Town)

Salary: Competitive CTC p/a (Negotiable based on experience)

Start Date: A.S.A.P.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in application development.
  • Education: BTech degree or diploma.
  • Reliable Transport: Own reliable transportation is essential.
  • References: Quality references are a must.
  • Clean Record: No criminal history.
  • Portfolio: Showcase your work—we want to see what you’ve accomplished

Frameworks and Skills:

  • .NET Stack: Proficiency in .NET Framework 5 and .NET Core 7.
  • Web Development: Experience with ASP.NET Webforms, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Database Expertise: Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, Procedures, Schemas, Views).
  • Version Control: Git for source control.
  • Design Patterns: Knowledge of MVC/MVVM design patterns.
  • Front-End Magic: Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.
  • API Aficionado: Design and develop RESTful services.
  • Server Management: IIS on Server 2016+.

Responsibilities:

  • Crafting Excellence: Develop medium to complex systems and applications using industry best practices.
  • Problem Solver: Investigate and address issues and requests from clients.
  • Database Wizard: Assist with data manipulation, database changes, and design.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build new features.
  • Bug Buster: Fix bugs and optimize application performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain application quality and ensure responsiveness.
  • Design Enthusiast: Work closely with graphic designers to bring designs to life.
  • Security Champion: Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Time Management: Analyze documentation and provide accurate time estimates for tickets.


Requirements
At least 3 + years work experience as an Application Developer Own Reliable Transport No Criminal Record Must include samples of coding ability (portfolio) Proven Experience with these technologies: •.NET Framework 5 •.NET Core 7 •ASP.NET Webforms •VB.NET Framework •Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, Procedures, Schemas, Views) •Git Source Control •Design Patterns - MVC / MVVM •Web Fundamentals - HTML, CSS •Javascript / jQuery •Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Bootstrap •API design and development •RESTful Services •IIS Management on Server 2016+
