Structural Engineer

Hire Resolve is seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our client's team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of buildings and infrastructure. You will work closely with the design team, contractors, and project managers to develop accurate structural designs and plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with extensive knowledge of construction methods and materials. You should be highly proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software, and possess excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze structures, such as buildings, bridges, and tunnels, to ensure they are safe and meet relevant codes and regulations
  • Create detailed structural drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to develop accurate designs and plans
  • Review and approve construction plans, including materials and structural components
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure construction is progressing according to plans and specifications
  • Provide technical assistance to construction teams as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of structural engineering

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Structural Engineer
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Experience with structural analysis software is a plus
