REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma) in Production Management or Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production management ideally within a body builder operation
  • Sound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing system principles
  • Working knowledge of applicable labour and OCHSA regulations/ laws
  • Effective leadership, organizational and excellent communication, and time management skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and motivate the production teams to achieve performance targets
  • Managing the manufacturing/ fabrication processes
  • Ensuring that body applications are built following specifications, meeting regulatory and customer requirements
  • Achieving the production schedule, quality and cost targets
  • Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with SHE/ OHCSA
