Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking to hire a dedicated content creator to create and write content for blogs, articles, web pages, social media, and the company website. The content writer's responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, regularly updating the company's website, and promoting marketing materials by pitching articles to various third party platforms. You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content.
To be successful as a content writer, you should keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques. Ultimately, a top-performing Content Creator should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase reader engagement.

Job Description:
  • Creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content for both Outrank and our external clients
  • Your primary responsibility will be to create informative and engaging articles that provide high value to our target audience and consistently achieve high SERP rankings.
  • Delivering a defined number of words of written content per day, that is factually accurate, informative, engaging, and free of grammatical errors
  • Conducting in-depth research on various topics to ensure your articles are 100% factually correct and aligned with our readers’ search intent.
  • As an SEO Content Writer you will work as a member of our content team, and will be expected to collaborate with our editors and implement their feedback and suggestions in your articles
  • Apart from applying SEO best practices to articles, roles and responsibilities will also require to follow our internal linking guidelines and think about internal linking opportunities in the content
  • Adhering to our internal linking guidelines and contextually including mandatory internal links from content briefs into your articles
  • Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.
  • Developing content for marketing materials, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
  • Assisting the digital designer in developing content for advertising campaigns.
  • Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
  • Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
  • Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
  • Ultimately, the goal is to produce high quality content that will consistently rank high on google and will reliably generate organic traffic to our brand/clients.




Requirements



Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
  • Working knowledge of content management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Suite, WordPress, and social media platforms.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to make complex technical matters easy to understand even for non-technical people.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables.
  • Proven experience working under pressure to deliver high-quality output in a short period.
  • Excellent verbal and English written communication skills.
  • Excellent grip on English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style. In-depth knowledge of current SEO practices is obligatory.
