Junior Civil Engineer

The Dams and Hydropower division within Knight Piésold is expanding and currently looking for a Junior Civil Engineer (Dams & Hydropower) to join the team in our Pretoria office.
Minimum Requirements:
BSc Eng (Civil) or B Eng (Civil) At least 2 years post-graduate experience, preferably in dams and/or hydraulic structures. The ideal candidate must have a basic knowledge of AutoCAD and HECRAS. The ideal candidate should be flexible to take up occasional site positions as and when the opportunities are presented. Basic modelling skills Valid driving license Willing to travelKey Responsibilities:
To assist in the design aspects of engineering, and be involved in calculations, analysis and have the knowledge to work on the civil design systems. To assist the senior staff accurately and efficiently in the respective division in the compilation and timeous submission of tenders and proposals. To be able to compile bill of quantities. Shadow senior engineers on a site or to be assigned as ARE for basic site inspection or supervision.
