Mobile Test Analyst

As a Mobile Test Analyst, you'll help the development team ensure that our applications are functioning correctly on all devices and operating systems. You'll test apps on multiple mobile platforms including iPhone/iPad, Android and BlackBerry. You will also be required to follow up with developers for specific issues that may arise in their work flow or application logic. The Mobile Test Analyst should have excellent written communication skills and previous experience working in a fast-paced environment where he/she is constantly challenged by new projects and deadlines. Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium Webdriver is preferred.


Requirements


  1. Monitor for updates to application design and app functionality
  2. Document and evaluate all test cases
  3. Test the implementation of application interfaces
  4. Test applications across multiple platforms
  5. Exercise the business logic of the application under test
  6. Troubleshoot and fix application bugs
  7. Provide testing support for web applications
  8. Uses appropriate tools to create test scripts, identify and edit tests, and maintain the test environment


Qualifications


  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required
  2. Must have three years of experience in mobile testing and/or mobile app development
  3. 5 years of hands on experience with Android and iOS mobile development
  4. 5 years of experience as a mobile test analyst
  5. 5years of experience in mobile application development with experience developing Android and iOS applications
  6. Digital experience
  7. Insurance (short term or life)/financial service industry is advantageous
  8. SAFe Methodology - value stream approach
  9. Custom built solutions (not off the shelf)
  10. Understanding of back-end integration
  11. Explore new technologies
