RPO Recruitment is currently assisting a reputable mining company in the NW province to find an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join their team. As an Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities within the mining operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the maintenance team
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans
  • Manage maintenance budgets and costs
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize operations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • National Diploma/N6 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Fitter or Boilermaker Trade Test Certificate
  • Minimum 6 years plant experience in the mining industry
  • At least 2 years' supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license
