Hire Resolve's client, a leading construction company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Officer to join their team. As a Safety Officer in the construction industry, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health and safety measures to ensure a safe work environment for all employees and subcontractors. You will conduct regular inspections, identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards
- Provide safety training and education to employees and subcontractors
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and standards
- Maintain safety records and documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards
- Relevant safety certifications or qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
