The purpose of the divisional trainer is to develop and implement a divisional training program for induction as well as ongoing field training, and in addition to identify sales and product training needs through ride-alongs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

To reside in Gauteng and be prepared to travel to outlying areas (occasional overnight travels – Kickstart meetings, Roadshow, etc.). Minimum of 2 years sales experience within Würth South Africa or a relevant industry. Experience in a training role will be beneficial but is not compulsory. Extensive product and market knowledge in the Auto and Cargo Industries is imperative. Efficient in Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Well spoken – English and Afrikaans. Strong communicator with strong presentation skills. Matric or equivalent. Valid driver’s licence. Own vehicle. Clear credit history. No disciplinary records.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Annual divisional training plan aligned with division strategy - Divisional induction training plan and content; ensure regular improvements and updates according to changes in needs or products; develop training plan according to CSC expertise and years of service (2-5 years, more than 5) using various training methods; collaborate with HR Training on all induction trainings, host planning meetings for such. Ensure that training materials are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices. Feedback / Reporting on Induction and Division training. Conducting Field training (10 days per month) - Strategically select CSCs according to performance, build feedback structure and reports, identify skills gaps within the sales force; follow up on KPI development over multiple ride alongs. Assist with training needs for Kenya and Namibia when needed and agreed. Include shops in travel day. Monthly feedback meeting and documenting after ride-alongs. Countrywide division specific application and sales training - Conduct roadshows approx. 4 times per year; develop training videos and regularly host webinars for divisional development. Develop product training on Demos and applications for divisional marketing campaigns according to annual activity planner - Provide comprehensive training on the company's metal products, including specifications, applications, and usage guidelines. Keep abreast of new product releases and updates. Adhoc marketing content creation for immediate needs on product videos - Adhoc Videos not stipulated on the activity planner – Trainer’s schedule will be taken into consideration. Actively engage in market research for the division and PPC meetings - Identify potential new products, range extensions, etc. whilst on drive-alongs. ASM’s, etc. these to form part of PPC meetings and 1on 1 discussions. LMS – Identify and allocate available LMS trainings - Identify available trainings on LMS according to the Product baskets, where not available, LMS content must be created. Attend international created Webinars/trainings. Driving the TOP 10 Strategy - Identifying of Groups, individuals that are not performing effectively with the TOP 10 for the Divisions Auto and Cargo and ensuring that these groups and Individuals are coached and trained effectively to fully understand the TOP 10 strategy and products.
