Hire Resolve's client is a leading mining company based in Gauteng, seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor Engineering Mechanical to join their team. This role involves overseeing mechanical maintenance and ensuring safety and efficiency in mining operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the mechanical maintenance team
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Plan and schedule maintenance and repair activities
  • Conduct inspections and assessments of equipment and machinery
  • Implement and monitor maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • N4 Mechanical Engineering qualification
  • Valid Trade Test Certificate (Fitter, Boilermaker, Millwright, Diesel Mechanic)
  • 7 years’ Shaft, Conveyance, and associated Infrastructure maintenance experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license
