CMMS Specialist

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced CMMS Specialist to join a leading packaging company in the industry. As a CMMS Specialist, you will play a crucial role in implementing and managing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to optimize maintenance activities and ensure the smooth operation of the packaging facility.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure the CMMS system to meet the specific needs of the packaging facility
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and work orders
• Monitor equipment performance data and analyze trends to identify potential issues and recommend improvement measures
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize maintenance strategies and improve equipment reliability
• Provide training and support to end-users on CMMS functionalities
• Generate reports and analyze CMMS data to track maintenance KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain accurate equipment records and update the CMMS system with relevant information
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with CMMS systems in the packaging industry
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning in the packaging industry
• Strong knowledge of CMMS functionalities and configuration
• Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the packaging industry

Benefits

• Salary: R1mill/yr - R850K/yr, negotiable
