Hire Resolve's client, a well-established mining company, is looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join their team. As a Grader Operator, you will play a crucial role in the mining operations, operating and maintaining the grader equipment to ensure the proper grading of surfaces and roads.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and control grader equipment to grade surfaces and roads
  • Maintain proper and accurate grading according to specifications
  • Perform pre-start checks and routine equipment maintenance
  • Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to all health and safety regulations
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant grader operator certification
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a grader operator in the mining industry
  • Sound knowledge of grader equipment operation and maintenance
  • Good understanding of mining operations and production processes
  • Strong commitment to health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Medically Fit
  • Operational knowledge of opencast mining and earth moving equipment
  • Must understand the importance of working safely.
  • No criminal record
  • Able to read and write
  • Be in possession of symbol A Dover test
  • Valid driver's license
