Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join their engineering consulting firm. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate construction projects, including hiring contractors, obtaining permits, and managing budgets
  • Oversee project progress and ensure adherence to timelines
  • Monitor construction sites regularly to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop project plans and designs
  • Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contracts
  • Manage and supervise construction personnel and subcontractors
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction
  • Conduct inspections to ensure project quality and compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • At least 5 years experience as a Construction Manager
  • SACPCMP registration as a Construction Manager will be an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Valid driver's license
