KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

To assiduously drive and ensure the optimum availability, reliability, productivity and safety of plant and equipment by effectively and efficiently utilizing and controlling resources, both human and machine, which includes but not limited to:

Mechanical maintenance operations
Root cause analysis
Risk management
Budget and cost control
Staff supervision

QUALIFICATIONS
Engineering Technical Trade Test in (Boilermaking / Fitting) - MQA preferred
Engineering Technical Theoretic Certificate N3 (Essential)
First Line Supervisory Certificate (NQF level 4 150 Credits) or ARM / Assmang equivalent (Recommended)

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of four (4) years operational mining / plant maintenance environment experience
Minimum of three (3) years Team / Project leader / Supervisory experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Computer literacy
Intermediate user of MS Office and JDE

Functional
Implementation of Engineering practices

Diagnostic
Root cause analysis
Problem solving

Statutory
ER knowledge
Mine health and safety act
ISO standards
Environmental procedures
Relevant COPs and SOPs

SHERQ
First aid certificate
Working knowledge of all SHERQ related policies, practices and procedures

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Medically fit
Meet required medical fitness standards
Drivers license - Valid Code EB drivers license

SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE:

MP1000 Crushers
Stackers and Reclaimers

TERMS & CONDITIONS
The candidate will be appointed on the condition of being certified medically fit as per Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996.
Remuneration will be based on a competitive all-inclusive flexible package.
Preference will be given to women in mining and designated groups in accordance with the Companys Employment Equity Plan.
