IT/OT Engineer

Job Title: IT/OT Engineer

Location: Limpopo, Waterberg District, Lephalale

Job Type: 6 Month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:

• Design, implement, and maintain IT and OT systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IT and OT systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT and OT processes.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on IT and OT systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, or Information Technology
• Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
• Proven experience working with IT and OT systems in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and system integration principles.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in IT and OT systems.
• Experience in Control & Instrumentation (C&I), Central Building Management System (CBMS), and Operational Technology (OT) is crucial.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects, particularly in large-scale power generation or industrial automation projects.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and integrating IT and OT systems in large industrial setups.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in IT and OT systems design and implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of industry best practises in IT and OT security.
