Tissue Maker

We are seeking a highly capable Tissue Maker in our Factory production department.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA:
• Operates the tissue machine and processes and co-ordinates activities on a shift basis as
efficiently as possible.
• Ensuring effective performance of all aspects of the Operating unit.
• Responsible for sustainable performance of the process while at the same time ensuring a
safe environment for all the people.
• Responsible for minimizing process upsets and maximizing uptime.
• Appropriately shutting down an starting up the plant when required

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Matric
• National Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology or Engineering Equivalent
• Minimum 2 – 5 years pulp and paper exposure in a paper mill
• Technical Skills essential
• Good computer skills
• DCS knowledge
• Knowledge of WMS
• Knowledge of Syspro
• OSHACT,
• Company safety rules and regulations
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Be able to work with people from all disciplines.
• Adapt well to changes in job requirements.
• Occasionally conduct physically demanding tasks
• Be able to work long hours when needed
