Improve effectiveness and efficiency through analysis within the Business Unit by conceptualisation, redesign, and implementation of improved processes.
Communicate, train, and interact with personnel on standard compliance and measurements. Interact with the shop steward’s, personnel and handle the daily HR requirements

Responsibilities:

Processes, Analysis and Training
o    Understand and map the end-to-end Process flow throughout the supply chain.
o    Review and analyse all operational business processes/systems on an ongoing basis.
o    Review, revise and implement SOP’s.
o    Coach, facilitate, train relevant individuals to implement and maintain.
o    Monitor identified performance measurements, progression of project processes and propose corrective actions to be implemented.
o    Improve quality, productivity, and delivery in all relevant departments.
o    Support internal and external audit activities.
o    Forward all relevant information back to the business via communication channels and KPI reporting.
 
Kaizen
o    Bring about the understanding of “Good processes bring good results”.
o    Identify areas for improvement based on leading practice.
o    Root cause analysis, containment, and corrective actions.
o    Implement and embed changed processes/systems.
o    Manage a robust review process for selecting, scoping, and prioritizing Continuous Improvement initiatives.
ö  Human Resource
o    Employee induction and orientation.
o    Employee relations, motivation, and morale.
o    Training - Compile training manuals for internal training.
o    Employee discipline, counselling, and disciplinary procedures.
 
Reporting
o    Daily
  • Daily Equipment Transaction Balancing.
  • Daily Equipment Throughput Figures.
  • System transactions vs Actual movements.
  • Order vs Supplied.
 
o    Weekly
  • Combined Throughput.
  • Equipment Conditioning.
  • Equipment Repairs.
  • Absenteeism.
  • Inter facility Relocations.
 
o    Monthly
  • Global Regional Throughput Measured Reporting on Equipment of planned vs actual vs previous month figures.
  • Facility and Plant upkeep.
  • Improvement Projects.
  • Planed and upcoming projects.
  • SHE training, implementation, and revisiting of Incident Reports (If any)

Qualifications and Minimum Experience:
  •  Diploma in Logistics/Supply chain field e.g. BCom – Logistics/Facility management/Supply Chain
  •   At least 5 years’ experience in facility, plant and welding maintenance or the logistics environment.
  •   2-3 years’ experience in HR environment       
  •  Good English communication
  •   Client Orientated
  •   Strong Personality for building customer / personnel relationships.
  •   Must be bi-lingual: Afrikaans and English
