      Duties:

  • Facilitation:
    • Planning and managing weekly classes
    • Preparation and delivery of learning content
    • Prepare learning environment i.e., labs; classrooms; research venues, group activity venues etc
    • Develop learning material if required
    • Organize additional workshops and field trips
    • Marking of practical, formative, and summative assessments

  • General academic administration:
    • Record student attendance
    • Motivate and reinforce students
    • Identify students at risk
    • Set up additional support for students
    • Record student results
    • Provide programme review feedback
    • Moderation reports completed as per the moderation plan
    • Complete certifications as per deadlines
    • Present the qualification at open days
  • Minimum requirements:
    • Facilitator must have a relevant qualification at NQF 9 (Masters).
    • At least 5 yrs. post qualification experience in water infrastructure operations.
    • Must be a subject matter expert in water infrastructure operations.
  • Computer Literacy
    • MS Office
  • Additional competencies required
    • Excellent communication skills
