Experience:

Minimum of 5 year’s generalist procurement, admin or Sales experience preferably within an FMCG environment.

  • Must be able to handle pressure
  • Build and maintain a good relationship with suppliers
  • Experience and excellent working knowledge on Microsoft office especially Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities:

  • Create PO’s for all stock and buyouts coming in, placing them with suppliers.
  • Ensure we are charged the right prices from suppliers and assist in loading of supplier prices onto Great Plains.
  • Place all purchase orders on the relevant delivery date in the receiving calendar, refine the delivery dates to provide smooth flow in receiving
  • Attend to all supplier queries regarding prices and short deliveries of products.
  • Do any return to suppliers for stock uplifted/ Stock credited at branch by supplier or recalls.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders that we need to load onto the trucks.
  • Confirm delivery of branches buyout deliveries.
  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers and ordering
  • To actively take part in stock takes when they occur and following up on queries.
  • Assist in Advertising
  • Take complete ownership of assigned portfolio
